Position Purpose
- The Principal Data Operations Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality and timely delivery of client outputs (databases, reports, and other deliverables) to manufacturers and retailers. This role independently executes, monitors, and drives standardized processes across operations tasks such as coding, instructions, and validation/control for categories. The analyst ensures customer satisfaction by meeting or exceeding delivery and quality targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Deliverables: Execute instructions from coding and data validation to final output creation, ensuring compliance with client specifications.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with Country Operations and Regional Enablement teams to deliver outputs aligned with client expectations.
- Process Implementation: Support CI transitions, new business setups, change requests, and query resolution.
- Problem Solving: Identify, investigate, and resolve data, process, or product-related issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Propose optimized solutions, drive SOP adoption, and implement best practices.
- Coaching: Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
- Performance Monitoring: Prepare KPI tracking to monitor and improve quality performance (on-time delivery, data accuracy).
- Operational Support: Assist the Team Manager in daily tasks and coordinate team activities during their absence.
Qualifications
Scope
- The Principal Data Operations Analyst focuses on client deliverables, coding, and data input validation for specific industries or categories (e.g., Beverages, Food, Health & Beauty). The role requires strong operational expertise and the ability to support junior colleagues while ensuring timely and accurate client outputs.

Qualifications
- Complete bachelor's degree in economic, administrative and computer science careers.
- 1–3 years of experience in operations, preferably within Nielsen.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end production processes.
Skills & Knowledge
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Independent problem-solving and proactive execution.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and data process aptitude.
- Project management skills (task sequencing, critical path, problem resolution).
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
- Proficiency in MS Office.
