Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse & Logistics Manager to join our New
Philadelphia, Ohio warehouse operations and logistics teams. The ideal candidate will help optimize
materials management by working with cross-functional teams and collaborating closely with all
warehouse and logistics team members. This fast-paced role requires good communication skills and a
commitment to driving optimization, ensuring on-time delivery to customers, and supporting our
commitments to safety, compliance, and quality.
Key Characteristics

Duties & Responsibilities
● Partner with warehouse team members & operational team to plan and get production
completed for customer orders.
● Align with key stakeholders, including customer service, Operations, Maintenance, Lab,
Commercial (Sales) teams, Procurement, S&OP, and other relevant functions to promote
continuous improvement and ensure on-time, complete, and compliant deliveries to customers.
● Ensure shipment quality and on-time delivery (OTD) for customers by working closely with
various departments at the site.
● Prepare and present reports on material status, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
● Analyze material usage data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
● Maintain bulk tank materials quantity.
● Partner with Chemsure Schedulers as needed to get loads completed, or changed, due to raw
material changes and/or based on customer needs.
● Work with Shipping Lead to ensure all orders are ready for shipment, provide status on
shipment deliveries.
● Execute daily activities to meet business needs, including direct material productivity, managing
indirect costs, and material lost targets.
● Promote a safety-first culture, and participate in daily management meetings, and safety
initiatives.
● Execute production strategies / plans for shipments
● Use knowledge of plant equipment and capabilities to combine batches and improve efficiency.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
● 5+ years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, and logistics
● Strong knowledge of inventory management software, SAP, Access
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
● Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements related to materials handling
Compensation - The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $99,721 - $112,423 annually.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Required:
● 5+ years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, and logistics
● High school Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred (if applicable):
● Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred
Additional Information
● Manufacturing working environment
● FRC requirement in certain areas
● 1% - 10% Travel required at times
