The Opportunity

As a Director, Partnership Product Sales, you will be responsible for driving partnership revenue growth for Fandango, a leading digital destination for movie discovery, ticketing, entertainment content, and fan engagement. Reporting to the Sr. Vice President of Sales, you will cultivate and expand relationships with agencies, advertisers, studios, and brand partners while developing integrated solutions that connect clients with Fandango's highly engaged entertainment audience.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, identifying opportunities across digital, content, sponsorship, social, commerce, and experiential offerings. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help deliver innovative partnership programs that drive business results for clients while supporting revenue growth across Versant's Digital Platforms & Ventures portfolio.

What You'll Do

  • Drive advertising and partnership revenue through agency, client-direct, and strategic partner relationships.
  • Develop and grow a portfolio of accounts by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing partnerships.
  • Create customized partnership solutions that leverage Fandango's digital, content, sponsorship, social, and experiential offerings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key client and agency stakeholders, serving as a trusted business partner.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Account Management, Ad Operations, Product, and other cross-functional teams to develop proposals, respond to RFPs, and execute partnership programs.
  • Lead client presentations, negotiations, and sales conversations that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Support renewal and upsell opportunities through ongoing account stewardship and strategic planning.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed revenue goals while delivering exceptional client service and partnership results.
  • Clearly communicate expectations, timelines, and deliverables across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging advertising solutions, and evolving client needs to identify new opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in media sales, partnership sales, digital advertising, sponsorship sales, or business development.
  • Proven success developing and growing client relationships while consistently achieving revenue goals.
  • Experience selling integrated marketing, media, sponsorship, content, commerce, or digital solutions.
  • Strong understanding of digital media, streaming, social, mobile, and consumer engagement platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, communication, and consultative selling skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholder groups.
  • Experience managing multiple accounts and navigating complex sales cycles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with entertainment, media, technology, or consumer-facing brands.
  • Established relationships with agencies, advertisers, studios, and brand marketers.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience developing custom partnership programs and integrated marketing solutions.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with executional excellence in a fast-paced environment.

New York Pay Transparency Notice

The anticipated salary range for this position is $170,000 - $180,000 + commission. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
