Fabricator Welder Jobs in Newburn at Stannah – Join Our Team!

We have an exciting opportunity for a Fabricator Welder to join Stannah, based at Newburn.

This job will involve joining and fabricating metal components using MAG welding techniques. Using drawings created by our in-house Rail Design Team. You'll make sure each product meets quality standards and is completed right first time.

As a Fabricator Welder, you'll work 37 hours per week in a permanent role:

Monday to Wednesday 19:45 to 05:45, Thursday 19:45 to 04:45.

You will receive a 33% shift uplift during these hours .

We're looking for someone with proven MAG welding experience and the ability to accurately interpret technical drawings. Experience using oxy-acetylene heating equipment and working to precise tolerances would be advantageous.

Fabricator Welder Responsibilities:

• Complete welding and fabrication jobs within the required specification

• Read and interpret detailed product drawings

• Deliver high-quality work that meets QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) standards

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

• Follow Works Instructions and health and safety protocols

Qualifications

Fabricator Welder Requirements:

• Experience in MAG welding and fabrication
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings
• Skilled in polishing and cosmetic finishing using hand air tools
• Understanding of working to fine tolerances and digital bevel gauges
