Devoteam Portugal is on the lookout for a results-driven Senior Manager — Digital Business Strategy, a commercially-oriented senior consulting profile.

Anchored in our Business Consulting practice, this role operates at the intersection of digital business strategy and commercial development. Reporting to the Business Consulting Director, and embedded alongside our Sales Director and Key Account Managers on strategic accounts, you will bring a consulting lens that elevates commercial conversations from service pitches to transformation narratives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Practice Leadership: Define the practice's service offerings, transformation approaches and frameworks, and overall Intellectual Property (IP).

  • Commercial Strategy: Partner with the Sales Director and dedicated KAMs to shape sales strategies for selected accounts; serve as the consulting credibility lead in client conversations; lead discovery workshops and develop business cases that align digital strategy with measurable client outcomes.

  • Delivery Oversight: Serve as the senior escalation point for the practice and provide hands-on oversight for the most complex, strategically significant engagements to ensure quality, client satisfaction, and margin discipline.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead and support pre-sales and multidisciplinary opportunity shaping, working closely with peer Practice Managers and Delivery Leads on scope definition and solution development.

  • Market Positioning: Monitor digital business model innovation trends and drive the firm's external presence through event participation and thought leadership, including case studies and market-facing collateral.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Project Management; relevant certifications are an asset.

  • 8+ years of experience in tech consulting, digital strategy, or business transformation, with sustained senior client-facing exposure.

  • Proven track record working alongside or in close partnership with Sales functions — fluent in enterprise B2B commercial dynamics and selling cycles.

  • Demonstrated commercial experience: pre-sales leadership, proposal construction, and/or business development in a consulting or advisory context.

  • Strong delivery track record: we are looking for a consultant who sells, not a seller who consults. Your advisory credibility must be real, and your commercial instinct must be sharp.

  • Excellent analytical skills, with a creative approach to solving complex challenges.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Genuine interest in helping organizations become more agile and responsive to change.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
