Job Description
We are now recruiting for a confident and hands-on Warehouse Shift Supervisor to join our team at iForce Corby on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a great opportunity to step into a busy warehouse operation where you will lead, support and develop colleagues across a range of workstreams. You will play a key role in keeping the shift running smoothly, ensuring productivity, service, quality and health and safety standards are achieved every day.
Shift: Rotating shifts, 06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00
Salary: £31,951.41
What you'll be doing:
- Lead, organise and support warehouse colleagues across a busy shift operation.
- Provide training, coaching and guidance to new and existing team members to help achieve high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Support people processes including attendance, performance, team briefings and day-to-day colleague management.
- Plan and position colleagues effectively to respond to operational priorities and achieve shift targets.
- Support the efficient receipt, pallet build, put away and despatch of stock.
- Help maintain service levels by supporting the processing of returned customer orders in line with SLA targets.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, housekeeping and compliance across the operation.
- Monitor stock integrity and support accurate, efficient stock movement throughout the warehouse.
- Motivate the team to achieve and exceed productivity, service and operational KPI targets.
- Communicate clearly with operatives and managers to resolve challenges and keep the operation moving.
Qualifications
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in a warehouse team leader, supervisor or similar people management role.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-client warehouse environment would be desirable.
- A process-focused approach with an understanding of customer requirements, quality standards and operational efficiency.
- A strong people manager who leads by example, builds team spirit and can motivate colleagues to perform at their best.
- Adaptable and responsive, with the ability to monitor workflow and move resources to meet operational needs.
- Confident using IT systems and able to follow processes, instructions and reporting requirements accurately.
