Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Informatica Developer with strong expertise in ETL development and a basic understanding of Oracle Analytics Server (OAS). The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes while supporting reporting and analytics requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows, mappings, and sessions using Informatica
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple data sources
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems
- Optimize ETL performance and troubleshoot data-related issues
- Write and optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures for data processing
- Support data warehouse development (fact/dimension models, star schema)
- Work closely with BI/OAS teams to support reporting and analytics requirements
- Assist in RPD understanding, basic changes, and validation in OAS
- Support data validation and reconciliation between source and target systems
- Participate in UAT, deployment, and production support activities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business data requirements
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Informatica PowerCenter (or similar ETL tools)
- Good knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
- Experience with data warehousing concepts (ETL, star/snowflake schema)
- Understanding of data transformation and data mapping techniques
- Basic knowledge of Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) / OBIEE
- Familiarity with reporting layers, subject areas, and dashboards in OAS
- Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting ETL jobs
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 3–7 years of experience in Informatica/ETL development
- Exposure to Oracle databases and BI tools
- Experience working with large datasets and enterprise data warehouses
