Digital Transformation and Delivery Lead - Environmental Remediation Sector
Posted about 3 hours ago
Job Description
AECOM is seeking a qualified candidate to, lead the digital delivery for the remediation business in US West, from setting the direction through to getting it done. It looks across the business to find where maturing how we use digital technology will make a real difference, whether that means new systems, getting more out of what we already have, or improving the way we work. It defines what needs to happen, what it will take, when, and the benefit it will deliver, and then leads delivery.
This is a do-and-lead role. The successful candidate performs hands-on solution work where needed and leads delivery through others where capability exists, scaling their own involvement to where the gaps are. They coordinate resources from across the business to support initiatives, in the manner of a delivery lead, without line-management authority. Delivery comes first; strategy and transformation set its direction.
The role works within corporate technology direction and standards, while making the case for new technology, including emerging capabilities like AI, where there is a strong reason to. It covers the full lifecycle, improving long-running programs as well as standing up new work. While it sits within the environment business, day-to-day direction comes from the regional Digital Director of Operations, who provides functional guidance and sets digital strategy and operational direction across all business lines.
