Role Overview:
The incumbent will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement of packaging
materials and consumables, ensuring timely availability, cost optimization, quality compliance, and uninterrupted supply. The role involves strategic sourcing, vendor management, commercial negotiations, stakeholder coordination, and process improvement initiatives to support efficient business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Operations
 Manage end-to-end procurement of packaging materials and consumables to ensure uninterrupted availability.
 Create, release, and track Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery of
materials.
 Monitor inventory levels and proactively plan procurement to avoid stock-outs.
Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization
 Float RFQs, obtain competitive quotations, conduct vendor comparisons, and evaluate sourcing options.
 Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, payment terms, and service agreements to achieve cost savings.
 Identify and develop alternate sources of supply to mitigate risks and improve
competitiveness.
 Drive cost optimization initiatives through strategic sourcing and supplier consolidation.

Vendor Management
 Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.
 Manage vendor onboarding, qualification, performance evaluation, and periodic reviews.
 Resolve supplier-related issues concerning quality, delivery, pricing, and contractual commitments.

Stakeholder Coordination
 Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and business priorities.
 Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of procurement activities.
 Support business operations through timely sourcing and procurement interventions.

Governance, Compliance & Reporting
 Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, processes, and compliance requirements.
 Maintain procurement records, contracts, vendor documentation, and MIS reports.
 Support process improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency,
transparency, and cost effectiveness.

Qualifications & Experience
 Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related discipline.
 5–8 years of relevant experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Supply Chain Management.
 Experience in handling OPEX procurement categories, including packaging materials and consumables.

Key Skills & Competencies
 Strong negotiation and commercial acumen.
 Business Services Teams, Finance & Accounts, Operations Teams, and external vendors, suppliers.
 Sound knowledge of procurement processes and strategic sourcing methodologies.
 Excellent vendor and stakeholder management skills.
 Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation capabilities.
 Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP/Procurement systems.
 Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within tight timelines.
 Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and cost optimization.
