Job Summary:

The Merchant Engagement role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with merchants, driving product adoption, and ensuring a seamless experience for Paytm partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain relationships with existing merchants to ensure long-term engagement.

Drive usage of Paytm products such as payments, soundbox, and financial services.

Educate merchants about new features, offers, and services.

Resolve merchant queries and provide timely support.

Monitor merchant performance and identify opportunities for growth.

Coordinate with internal teams to address merchant concerns.

Conduct regular follow-ups and field visits (if applicable).

Ensure achievement of assigned targets and KPIs.

Required Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Relationship management and negotiation ability

Problem-solving and customer-centric approach

Basic understanding of digital payments and fintech

Ability to work in a target-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Graduate in any discipline

Experience in sales, merchant acquisition, or customer engagement (preferred)

Familiarity with the fintech/payments ecosystem
