About the Role

In this role, you will design, build, and continuously enhance low-code applications that improve the efficiency and impact of existing quality-related processes. You will help expand and reinforce low-code capabilities within GQM in Lüdenscheid, Germany, while actively supporting the broader Digitalization@KOSTAL journey. Through close collaboration with relevant stakeholders, you will contribute to the implementation of practical digital solutions that create measurable value in day-to-day operations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop new Outsystems applications
    • Analyze existing processes / workflows with used tools, e.g. Excel-based forms
    • Collect use-cases and define design elements
    • Define solution architecture
    • Implement distributed modules in Outsystem
      • Define data model
      • Create user-interface
      • Implement business logic
      • Test and debug modules
    • Create training material for end-users, e.g. with e-Learning software like ActivePresenter
    • Train end-users, integrate feedback in further improvement
  • Maintain and drive evolution of existing Outsystems applications
  • Manage priorities between multiple projects
    • Monitor and report progress
    • Resolve resource conflicts
  • In cooperation with Outsystems team in the IT-department and other Outsystems developers at KOSTAL
    • Build common knowledge base
    • Share best practices
    • Identify opportunities for improvement and support their implementation

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor in Computer Science or similar specialization
  • Application development with low-code framework, preferably “Outsystems
  • 1-2 years of programming experience
  • Experiences in agile SW-development
  • Structured SW development
  • DevOps-platform, preferably GitLab
  • Basic knowledge of web-related programming (C#, Java-Script)
  • Certified “Outsystems Associate Reactive Developer O11” is an advantage
  • Fluent in English; German is an advantage.
