About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Developer – MEM to join our Automotive Software Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, integration, and verification of AUTOSAR-based Memory Stack software for automotive Electronic Control Units (ECUs).
The role involves developing and integrating memory services, ensuring reliable non-volatile data management, supporting software diagnostics, and maintaining compliance with automotive functional safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in embedded systems, memory management, software architecture, and a solid understanding of AUTOSAR-based software development, with the ability to independently drive technical activities and mentor junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and integrate application software based on AUTOSAR Memory Stack for automotive ECUs.
- Configure and integrate AUTOSAR Memory modules, including NvM, MemIf, Fee, Ea, Fls, and Eep, as applicable.
- Develop Embedded C software in accordance with AUTOSAR architecture and MISRA C guidelines.
- Analyze system and software requirements and translate them into robust software designs.
- Implement reliable non-volatile memory management, data integrity, and fault recovery mechanisms.
- Support in clarifying customer queries related to Memory Stack and related function
- Perform debugging and root cause analysis.
- Develop and execute unit tests and support software integration, verification, and validation activities.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and development processes.
- Collaborate with System, Basic Software (BSW), Hardware, Functional Safety, and Validation teams.
- Participate in technical discussions with customers and global engineering teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- 5–8 years of experience in embedded software development for automotive applications.
- Strong programming skills in Embedded C.
- Good understanding of AUTOSAR Classic Platform architecture, Basic Software (BSW) and memory management concepts.
- Hands-on experience with AUTOSAR Memory Stack modules (NvM, MemIf, Fee, Ea, Fls, Eep).
- Experience integrating AUTOSAR software components with the Runtime Environment (RTE).
- Good understanding of microcontroller flash memory, and non-volatile memory technologies (EEPROM, Data flash, NOR).
- Experience with software configuration and integration using AUTOSAR configuration tools.
- Strong analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Good understanding of Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) software engineering processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global teams.
- Self-motivated, with a high level of ownership and accountability.
- Strong mentoring and technical leadership capabilities.

Nice to Have
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 Functional Safety principles and their application in embedded software development
- Understanding of the Design Review Based on Failure Mode (DRBFM) methodology and its application in automotive product development.
- Understanding and practical application of software design principles, including SOLID, to improve software maintainability, extensibility, and testability.
