Junior Engineer – Avionics Ground and Flight Test [26082] (M/W/D)

Job Description

• Prepare avionics ground and flight test activities on aircraft, including the development of flight test programs;
• Execute on-aircraft ground tests and participate in real-time monitoring of test data systems during flight tests;
• Analyze test data and document results, deviations, and findings;
• Develop analysis routines/software or define requirements for analysis software related to test data evaluation;
• Collaborate closely with design, development, and testing teams within Airbus Defence and Space and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering Computer Science or Aerospace Engineering;
• Brings 1–2 years of relevant professional experience in engineering or testing activities;
• Has knowledge of fighter avionics systems;
• Is familiar with test support systems tracing tools and high level programming languages such as MaTE OCTANE DOORS JIRA C C++ and Python;
• Has proficient German and fluent English language skills;
• Is a strong team player with excellent communication skills a problem solving mindset and a proactive open minded personality.
