Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design ICA systems, including control panels, SCADA systems, PLCs, and field instrumentation.
- Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for ICA components.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
- Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of ICA systems on-site.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers, to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during project execution.
- Integrate instrumentation and control systems with existing infrastructure.
- Configure and program PLCs, SCADA, and other automation systems.
- Provide ongoing support for ICA systems, including maintenance and upgrades.
- Conduct performance analysis and recommend improvements to enhance system efficiency.
- Liaise with clients to understand project requirements and provide technical support.
- Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and training sessions for clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure all ICA systems meet quality standards, environmental regulations, and health and safety requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
Qualifications
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., in PLC programming, SCADA systems) is a plus.
- Proficiency in programming and configuring PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider).
- Experience with SCADA systems, HMI design, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
- Knowledge of instrumentation devices such as sensors, actuators, and flow meters.
- Familiarity with CAD software for designing control panels and wiring diagrams.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles for industrial control systems.
