Job Description
We seek an experienced Automotive Mechanic who is confident in their abilities to work within our Mobile Maintenance Department to conduct quality and timely preventative maintenance and repairs, including diagnosis and troubleshooting, on our large fleet of Toyota Landcruiser and Hilux light vehicles.
Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor you will work with both mining and maintenance personnel to ensure equipment availability is optimised aligning with full compliance with site procedures, legislative requirements, and best practice safety standards to achieve production and safety targets.
Qualifications
- Relevant Automotive Trade Qualification.
- Full New Zealand Driver Licence - Ability to drive manual vehicles is essential.
- Excellent diagnostic, fault finding, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance skills.
- Mining industry and/or Toyota four-wheel drive experience is (highly desirable).
- Strong commitment to safety.
