The IT Support Technician provides first-line technical assistance to employees, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals eager to learn and grow in IT support while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Act as the first point of contact for IT-related issues via phone, email, and in-person.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity problems.
- Assist with user account management, password resets, and access control.
- Perform routine system updates, backups, and maintenance tasks.
- Document technical issues and solutions in the IT knowledge base.
- Support IT projects, including system upgrades and deployments.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and data privacy standards.
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1+ years of experience in technical support or help desk role.
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and common business applications.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- CompTIA A+ or similar entry-level IT certification.
- Experience with help desk ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Familiarity with cloud-based telephony platforms (such as RingCentral)
