Talent 360 is hiring an HVAC Design Engineer to join our team.
This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer who is passionate about designing high-performance HVAC systems for a variety of engineering projects. The ideal candidate has a strong consultancy background and the technical expertise to deliver efficient, code-compliant, and innovative mechanical designs.
About the Role
As an HVAC Design Engineer at Talent 360, you will be responsible for designing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems throughout all project phases. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop technically sound, energy-efficient solutions while ensuring compliance with project requirements, engineering standards, and applicable codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design HVAC systems for commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects in accordance with project requirements.
- Perform cooling and heating load calculations and prepare HVAC design reports.
- Develop HVAC layouts, schematics, and detailed construction drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Select and size HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping systems, and ventilation components.
- Prepare technical specifications, equipment schedules, and engineering documentation.
- Coordinate HVAC designs with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting disciplines.
- Ensure all designs comply with local and international codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Participate in BIM coordination and multidisciplinary design review meetings.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation during project execution.
- Provide technical support throughout the design and construction phases to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 4–5 years of experience in HVAC Design Engineering.
- Proven experience within an engineering consultancy firm is required.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC system design, ventilation, chilled water systems, and air distribution.
- Proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
- Experience using HAP or similar HVAC load calculation software.
- Good understanding of ASHRAE standards and relevant local and international mechanical codes.
- Experience in BIM coordination and multidisciplinary project environments.
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
