Evening Care Assistant- Marlborough & Pewsey

Job Description

As an Evening Care Assistant, you will support older adults in their own homes, helping them wind down safely and live with dignity. Your duties will include:

• Evening Support & Personal Care: Assisting with tea-time meal preparation, medication assistance, and helping clients safely prepare for bed (washing, dressing, and mobility support).

• Companionship: Providing warm conversation, emotional support, checking in on pets, and ensuring the home is secure for the night.

• Continuity of Care: Working with regular clients so you can build real relationships. We even provide paid introductions to your clients before you start your first official visit.

Evening & Weekend Hours

• Part-time evening hours planned around your preferred regular availability.

• Rotas planned up to 6 weeks ahead, giving you excellent work-life balance and predictability.

• Availability to work every other weekend is essential to ensure continuous care.

Pay & Benefits

• Weekday Rate: £13.00 per hour (£13.50 for specialised care)

• Weekend Rate: £13.50 per hour (£14.00 for specialised care)

• Paid Travel Time: Compensation for the time spent driving between your clients' homes.

• Mileage Allowance: 45p per mile.

• Holiday & Pension: 28 days of paid holiday (pro rata) and enrollment in our company pension scheme.

• No Experience Needed: Full, comprehensive training is provided. If you have a caring heart, we will teach you the skills.

Qualifications

Because you will be working independently in our beautiful, rural Wiltshire communities, you must meet the following criteria:

• Approach: A caring, reliable, and professional attitude with the ability to work independently.

• Flexibility: Willingness to work your scheduled evenings and alternate weekends (essential).

• Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle are essential for traveling to clients in rural locations.

• Location: You must live within a reasonable traveling distance of Marlborough (SN8).

Additional Information

Legal & Compliance: An Enhanced DBS check, excellent professional references, and the right to work in the UK are required. Please note: We currently do not offer visa sponsorship.
