Job Description
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
Responsible for the management of new product development for all groups of customers to support best in class execution in alignment with the process and standards established by UK, EU and US. You should demonstrate consistency in all procedures and maintain a high degree of accuracy, responsiveness and flexibility to internal and external customers. Drive to support the overall development process for assigned customers.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Provide the completeness and consistent information flow for new item/program and global product changes from CPD/GSPD/Sales to process owners (Production/Prepress/CS)
- Serve as the account owner with overall product line knowledge and expertise responsibility for item development for assigned customers
- Ensure timely development and deployment of new items in cost effective production method for local supply
- Ensure timely delivery with accurate quotation to CPD/GSPD/Sales
- Initiate product re-engineering to be ahead of competition
- Initiate and drive improvement of speed of developments through the ELS approach
- Ensure timely and consistent availability of samples/proofs/formats/data integrity tests/ink draw downs for manufacturing unit
- Coordinate with local purchasing to develop material for new product development and re-engineer existing material.
- Proactive support to global and local sales strategies
- Take responsibility for the housekeeping in your area including sample storage, appropriate filing and maintaining 5S standards
- Training/Assisting CS, Sales, Operation team, Vendors (only if required) in the process of achieving highest degree required by customer/RBO in terms of service and quality
- Carry out any reasonable duties as when required
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leading departmental projects
- Local execution of regional/global projects
Qualifications
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
- Excellent communication skills in English along with good PR skills.
- Sound knowledge about the industry in which Avery Dennison Retail Branding Information Services
- RBIS IN Pakistan operates.
- Detail oriented, strong analytical skills & organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure, dealing with challenges and strict deadlines
- Business Graduation from any reputed University
- Report writing skills
- Project Management skills
- Reasonable authority subject to the control of Manage
