Analyst - Mobile Lab

Job Description

The  Analyst will be responsible for the analysis of pesticide residues in food and feed samples for Mobile Lab using advanced analytical instruments such as LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS. The role includes instrument operation, maintenance, calibration, preparation of standards, documentation, and ensuring compliance with laboratory quality management systems.

• Perform analysis of pesticide residues in food and feed samples as per validated methods and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS instruments to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct routine calibration and performance verification of LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS systems.
• Maintain and manage certified reference standards, including inventory control, storage conditions, and expiry tracking.
• Measurement of uncertainty.
• Ensure accurate documentation of analytical data, calibration records, maintenance logs, and quality control results.
• Adhere to laboratory quality systems,  and safety procedures.
• Participate in method validation, proficiency testing, and internal quality assurance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Food Technology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline.
