Te Tūranga – About the role

In this role, you'll lead creative ideation and design direction across our private brand packaging portfolio, while also supporting campaign, brand and communications activity.

You'll play a key role in shaping how our brands show up for customers, helping deliver creative work that is clear, consistent and commercially effective.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading creative concepts and design direction across the private brand portfolio
  • Providing clear creative recommendations to influence final design decisions
  • Mentoring and supporting designers to lift creative quality and consistency
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external partners
  • Maintaining and evolving brand guidelines and design standards
  • Championing creative excellence across all brand touchpoints
  • Supporting studio workflow improvements to increase speed to market

He kōrero mōu - About you     

We’re looking for a creative thinker who enjoys working collaboratively and delivering high-quality design at pace.

You’ll bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in graphic design across multiple brands and media
  • Strong portfolio experience (ideally within FMCG packaging), with an understanding of how design translates from concept through to production
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (especially with InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to present ideas clearly
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • A collaborative approach, balanced with the ability to work independently
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a drive to continuously improve
