Posted about 7 hours ago
Job Description
We are looking for a Reltio MDM Configurator / Data Integration Engineer based in India. This role is intentionally data-integration heavy, with approximately 75% of the responsibility focused on data pipelines, source-to-Reltio ingestion, Reltio-to-downstream extraction, reconciliation, and operational data movement. The remaining 25% will focus on hands-on Reltio configuration, including entities, attributes, match/merge, survivorship, relationships, and data model updates.
The ideal candidate is a strong Data Engineer / Data Pipeline expert with practical Reltio experience, strong SQL and Python skills, Snowflake knowledge, and experience with ETL/ELT tools. The candidate should be comfortable working across source systems, MDM platforms, and downstream analytical platforms in a life sciences or healthcare data ecosystem.
Data Integration / Data Engineering 75%
Build, support, and optimize data pipelines to load data into Reltio and extract mastered data from Reltio into downstream platforms such as Snowflake.
Reltio Configuration 25%
Configure and maintain Reltio entities, attributes, relationships, survivorship, match/merge logic, and operational metadata.
Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
Data Integration / Data Engineering Responsibilities (75%)
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines to onboard source data into Reltio MDM.
- Develop repeatable ingestion patterns for batch and API-based loads into Reltio.
- Extract mastered, matched, merged, and survivorship-applied data from Reltio for downstream consumption.
- Build and support pipelines between Reltio, Snowflake, and other enterprise data platforms.
- Use Python, SQL, Snowflake, and ETL/ELT tools to transform, validate, reconcile, and publish data.
- Support source-to-target mapping, data profiling, cleansing, standardization, and validation activities.
- Develop reconciliation checks for inbound loads, outbound extracts, rejects, errors, match results, and delta processing.
- Troubleshoot data integration failures, API errors, job failures, data sync issues, and downstream data defects.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, MDM, QA, Product, and business teams to convert requirements into reliable data pipelines.
- Document integration patterns, source mappings, pipeline logic, operational procedures, and support runbooks.
Reltio Configuration Responsibilities (25%)
- Configure and maintain Reltio entities, attributes, reference attributes, relationships, crosswalks, and lookup/reference data.
- Support match rules, merge behavior, survivorship rules, validation rules, and data model configuration changes.
- Implement and support Reltio APIs, webhooks, event framework patterns, and integration touchpoints.
- Assist with Reltio tenant configuration, promotion support, testing, and production release activities.
- Analyze and resolve data quality, matching, survivorship, hierarchy, and relationship issues within Reltio.
- Support data onboarding, migration, regression testing, reconciliation, and production support for Reltio implementations.
- Maintain configuration documentation and partner with MDM architects/leads on design decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data integration, ETL/ELT, or data pipeline development.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Reltio MDM configuration and/or Reltio integration.
- Strong experience building pipelines to load data into Reltio and extract data from Reltio.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases and cloud data platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Python for data processing, automation, API interaction, and operational scripting.
- Experience with Snowflake, including data loading, transformation, validation, and downstream publishing patterns.
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as dbt, Informatica, SSIS, Airflow, Matillion, Fivetran, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of MDM concepts including entity resolution, crosswalks, golden records, survivorship, match/merge, hierarchies, and data quality.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex integration, data quality, and synchronization issues across multiple systems.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models and participating in design, testing, release, and production support activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with life sciences, healthcare, HCP/HCO, customer, product, provider, or reference data domains.
- Experience with Reltio APIs, REST services, JSON, event-driven integration, webhooks, and delta extraction patterns.
- Experience with Snowflake, dbt, Git, CI/CD, and environment promotion/release management.
- Exposure to data governance, data catalog, lineage, metadata management, and enterprise data quality frameworks.
- Experience supporting production MDM operations, issue triage, monitoring, and managed services handoffs.
- Reltio certification or prior participation in successful Reltio implementation programs.
What Success Looks Like
- Reliable and repeatable data pipelines are established for Reltio inbound loads and outbound mastered-data extracts.
- Reltio configuration changes are implemented in a controlled, documented, and testable manner.
- Data issues are identified early through profiling, validation, reconciliation, and automated quality checks.
- Downstream consumers have timely and trusted access to Reltio mastered data in Snowflake and related platforms.
- The team has clear documentation, support procedures, and reusable integration patterns for future MDM implementations.
