About Hike Medical

Hike Medical is building the operating system for device-based care. We run the entire path that turns a prescription into a device on a patient's body — the back office that gets the patient ready, the point of care where they're evaluated, and the lab that makes the device. One company, built only for orthotics, prosthetics, and DME.

It's a $100B market, and more than half of every dollar never reaches a patient. It's lost to administration, denials, mispricing, and rework — while the person who needs the device waits. That gap is the business, and we built the machine that closes it, across three connected products:

  • Hike Intelligence — AI agents that run the revenue cycle, reading every faxed referral, verifying eligibility, chasing documents, and building audit-ready cases before a human touches a keyboard.

  • Hike Clinical — point-of-care software that lets a clinician evaluate a patient on any phone, generate a Medicare-compliant note, and order the device, all in a single visit.

  • Hike Lab — our own 3D-printing factory, turning a scan into a custom, PDAC-approved device shipped in days, not weeks.

Insoles are the wedge. DME is the bridge. Bionics is the destination. Read the full vision at bionics2040.com.

We've stealthily raised $22M through Seed and Series A, backed by top-tier investors who backed companies like OpenAI, Anduril, and Mercury early. We run a fast, results-first, high-ownership culture out of our new SF Rincon Hill office. If you want to work at the frontier of AI, manufacturing, and healthcare, this is the place.

The Opportunity

As an SDR, you are the engine of our provider growth. You'll prospect into Orthotic & Prosthetic (O&P) clinics, Podiatry practices, Physical Therapy centers, and independent DME providers across the country.

Your job is to get clinic owners and practitioners to take a demo of the Hike platform. Don't mistake these for small accounts—they're high-value providers running on analog workflows (fax intake, after-hours paperwork, denied claims, three-to-five-week lab turnarounds), which means large deals that move fast and enormous territory upside. You'll navigate front-desk gatekeepers with ease and speak credible clinical and business language to doctors, practice managers, and revenue leads.

You'll:

  • Run a high-velocity motion. Drive high-volume outreach (60–80 calls/day) to providers across the US. You know how to earn a receptionist's trust and get a decision-maker on the line.

  • Pitch practice economics, not products. You won't just talk about "insoles." You'll talk about denials, workflow efficiency, and profit margins — how Hike helps a provider see more patients in less time and stop bleeding revenue to rejected claims.

  • Qualify the real pain. Diagnose how a practice runs today: How do referrals arrive—still by fax? Where do they lose hours on intake and documentation? Who's their current lab? You're creating the wedge for our Account Executives.

  • Evangelize the platform. Many of these providers are old-school. You're the one showing them that AI-driven intake, born-compliant documentation, and PDAC-approved custom devices are real, reimbursable, and far better than the manual status quo.

What Excites Us

Selling to clinical executives and clinic owners takes a specific kind of polish and persistence. We're not filling a seat—we're looking for legends who can own this market. Specifically:

  • The strategic sales executive. 1–3 years of sales experience, ideally selling AI, software, or into medical practices, dental offices, independent pharmacies, or similar owner-operated businesses. You think like an owner and sell like a strategic partner, not a script-reader.

  • Poised and relentless. You don't flinch at the "the doctor is with a patient" objection. You navigate phone trees and front-desk staff with professionalism and persistence—and decision-makers take your call because you've earned it.

  • Coachable and curious. You can learn the difference between a pronated and a supinating foot, the basics of medical reimbursement, and how a denial actually happens—and you're hungry to.

  • High motor. This is a volume game. You're energetic, organized, and can manage a pipeline of hundreds of providers without letting a single lead slip through the cracks.

What You'll Own

  • Meeting setting. Booking 15+ qualified demos per month for our Account Executives.

  • Pipeline management. Managing a high volume of leads in HubSpot, with rigorous, disciplined follow-up.

  • Market feedback. Helping Marketing understand which messaging lands best with O&P professionals versus Podiatrists.

What You'll Get

  • Competitive compensation. Strong base ($60K–$90K) + uncapped commission ($100K–$150K OTE).

  • Meaningful equity. Real ownership in a high-growth startup backed by top VCs.

  • Accelerated growth. We reward A-players. Top performers get promoted fast—into closing roles and beyond—and are rewarded significantly for it.

  • Full benefits. Medical, dental, and vision coverage.

  • $15K relocation bonus. If you're moving to San Francisco.

  • The hub. Daily collaboration with Hike's founding team out of our SF Rincon Hill office.

  • And yes—free custom insoles. Your feet will thank you.
