What does a Junior Assistant Farm Manager at Warakirri Cropping do?

Coordinate machinery operations using GPS guidance, telemetry, and digital planning tools
Support precision agriculture activities such as variable rate applications and paddock data capture
Ensure accurate recording of operational data in AgWorld to support performance tracking and continuous improvement
Work closely with the Farm Manager to review efficiency, timing, and output metrics during seeding and harvest
Train and mentor staff not only in machinery operation but also in technology use and safe modern practices
Operate farm machinery for various tasks, including but not limited to spraying, paddock preparation, planting, spreading, cartage, and harvest.
Coordinate with external parties, such as contractors and delivery drivers.
Assist in the testing and recording of grain quality, as well as ensuring the safe storage and handling of grain during and after harvest.
Foster a learning environment at Warakirri Cropping, where staff are encouraged to ask questions and learn new things, with a strong focus on staff development.
