Job Description

  • Reliability of supply
    • Reporting of non-conformity (NCR)
    • Implementation and realization of corrective actions
    • Proactive avoidance of supply bottlenecks
  • Continuous improvement and quality assurance
    • Yield analysis and improvement
    • Problem solving methodology and reporting (e.g., 8D)
    • Definition of corrective and improvement actions
    • Document ownership (e.g., control plan) and process control responsibility (stage gate processing)
  • Communication
    • Internal reporting on regular basis
    • Preparation and presentation of corrective, improvement, and preventive actions and measures
    • Customer reporting on regular basis
    • Support of customer case

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Photonics, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of VCSEL and Photo-Diode device physics, technologies, and applications.
  • Proven track record in similar role
  • Ability to present and report complex problems and solutions in English and German
  • Ability to work in interdisciplinary and intercultural teams
