We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Radiologist to join a leading healthcare provider in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will provide expert diagnostic imaging services, deliver accurate and timely radiological interpretations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and report a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging studies, including:
- X-ray
- Ultrasound
- Computed Tomography (CT)
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
- Fluoroscopy
- Mammography (where credentialed)
- Perform image-guided diagnostic and minimally invasive procedures, where privileged.
- Provide expert consultation to referring physicians regarding imaging findings and appropriate diagnostic pathways.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality radiology reporting.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and contribute to clinical decision-making.
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety protocols, quality assurance standards, and infection prevention guidelines.
- Supervise and mentor junior radiologists, residents, radiographers, and allied healthcare professionals.
- Participate in clinical audits, research, quality improvement initiatives, and Continuing Medical Education (CME).
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with DHA regulations and hospital policies.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- MBBS/MD or equivalent medical qualification.
- Board Certification or equivalent recognized Consultant Radiology qualification.
- Minimum 5โ10 years of post-specialization experience at the Consultant level.
- Eligibility for or possession of a Dubai Health Authority (DHA) Consultant license.
- Strong expertise in general diagnostic radiology across multiple imaging modalities.
- Fellowship or subspecialty training in Breast Imaging, Musculoskeletal Radiology, Neuroradiology, Body Imaging, Pediatric Radiology, Cardiac Radiology, or Interventional Radiology is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered, evidence-based care.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience working in internationally accredited hospitals or tertiary healthcare institutions.
- UAE or GCC experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
