Job Description
The Events & Education Specialist is a food enthusiast who passionately engages guests in Eataly’s mission through events and educational offerings. Reports to the Events & Education Manager.
- Plans, schedules and executes public and private events including specialized cooking/wine/food knowledge classes, buyouts, press events, tastings and private receptions
- Writes and monitors class descriptions; compiles instructor biographies, Banquet Event Orders (BEO’s) and sales contracts; creates class registration pages online
- Fosters accountability in departments and interdepartmental collaboration when planning events
- Builds and manages client lists and relationships
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Experience in restaurant operations, sales management, marketing or event planning
- Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills
- Outstanding professional communication skills and editorial skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Italian wine and food gastronomy
- Proficiency in Italian language preferred
Job Requirements
- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays

Compensation: Pay range is set from $22 - $25 an hour
