Manager Corporate Strategy

Job Description

We are looking for a junior manager to support the delivery of Etihad's corporate strategy agenda by contributing to enterprise-level strategic analysis, synthesis, and communication materials. The role operates within the Corporate Strategy team and is responsible for supporting in the development and alignment of corporate strategy across the organization, a defined scope of strategic deep dives, and Board and stakeholder materials, under the guidance of the Head of Corporate Strategy.

Accountabilities

Corporate strategy development and alignment

• Support the development and evolution of Etihad's corporate strategy by contributing structured analysis, benchmarking, and synthesis across assigned workstreams.
• Help translate strategic direction into clear narratives and materials that guide enterprise wide decision-making.
• Ensure consistency between assigned business area strategies and enterprise-level priorities, flagging misalignments to the Head of Corporate Strategy.

Strategic projects, deep dives and enterprise insight

• Contribute to the delivery of strategic analyses and deep dives across assigned topics, including external market developments, benchmarking, assessment of possible inorganic growth opportunities, and complex internal strategic questions.
• Structure problems clearly, develop analytical frameworks, and synthesize findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Partner with business owners and Finance Business Partners to ensure analyses are grounded in operational reality and financial impact.
• Monitor implementation of agreed strategic initiatives and flag material deviations or risks to the Head of Corporate Strategy.

Enterprise strategic framing and decision support

• Structure and frame assigned strategic topics into clear, decision-oriented materials for ExCom, leadership forums, and senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to the preparation of ExCom strategy offsites and dedicated strategy sessions, including research, synthesis, and drafting of materials.
• Support senior leadership in evaluating strategic options by preparing well-structured analyses integrating financial, operational, and risk perspectives.

Board, Strategy & Investment Committee and Shareholder strategy engagement

• Support the preparation of strategy materials for Board-level and S&IC forums, ensuring high standards of clarity, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Contribute to the end-to-end process for Board and S&IC material preparation, coordinating inputs from relevant business areas and across the Finance division.
• Assist in coordinating with shareholder strategy and asset management teams, as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred (Finance, Economics, Strategy, or Business Management).
• 4–6 years of experience in corporate strategic consulting, corporate strategy, finance, or relevant industry roles, with demonstrated experience in structured analysis and executive communication.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to structure complex problems into clear frameworks and recommendations.
• Airline or broader transport/infrastructure sector experience preferred; cross-sector exposure considered a plus.
• Strong written and visual communication skills, with the ability to distill complex issues into clear, concise materials.
• High standards of attention to detail, analytical rigor, and output quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, senior-stakeholder environment with competing priorities
