We are looking for Saudi graduates to join our team as a Sales Engineer – Lighting & Lighting Control Systems (Tamheer Program) in Riyadh.
This role is designed for candidates with an engineering background who are interested in developing their career in technical sales and solution selling within the lighting and smart systems industry. The role combines technical understanding with commercial exposure, including customer engagement, project support, and sales development activities.
The candidate will gain hands-on experience in lighting products, lighting control systems, and project-based sales while supporting the business in developing relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, and end users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the identification and development of sales opportunities within lighting and lighting control projects.
- Assist in understanding customer requirements and proposing suitable technical lighting solutions.
- Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and technical discussions with consultants, contractors, and developers.
- Support preparation of quotations, proposals, and sales documentation.
- Follow up on leads, quotations, and ongoing opportunities under supervision.
- Assist in developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
- Support internal coordination with engineering and operations teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Learn and apply technical knowledge of lighting products, applications, and control systems.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities.
- Contribute to achieving sales targets and pipeline development.
Requirements
Eligibility Requirements (Tamheer Program):
- Saudi national (required).
- Must be eligible for the Tamheer program.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field.
- Not currently registered with GOSI.
- Not previously enrolled in the Tamheer program.
- Age not exceeding 30 years.
- Unemployed for at least 6 months.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong interest in technical sales, lighting systems, or smart building solutions.
- Basic understanding of lighting products, electrical systems, or automation is an advantage.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into commercial solutions.
- Interest in working with consultants, contractors, and project-based environments.
- Eagerness to learn sales processes, negotiation, and business development.
- Preferably based in Riyadh.
