Head of Sales - Poultry Industry

Location: Muscat, Oman.
Working Arrangement: on-site.
Language Requirements: Fluency in English (written and spoken).
We are seeking an experienced Head of Sales to lead commercial operations and drive business growth across the region. The role will be responsible for developing and executing regional sales strategies, expanding market presence, strengthening customer relationships, and achieving sustainable revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record leading sales within the poultry, hatching eggs, or table eggs industry, with strong sales experience in countries in the MENA region.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience leading sales within one or more of the following industries:
- Poultry
- Hatching Eggs
- Table Eggs
- Demonstrated experience managing sales in countries in the MENA region.
Other Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Agriculture, Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical decision-making skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the organization's regional sales strategy to achieve business growth objectives.
- Lead sales operations across the region and drive revenue growth within target markets.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to expand the customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and strategic partners.
- Lead and develop the sales team, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives and performance targets.
- Monitor sales performance, market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for executive management.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and oversee key customer contracts.
- Collaborate with operations, production, and supply chain teams to ensure effective delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Represent the organization in customer meetings, industry events, and commercial negotiations throughout the region.
