We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Anesthesiologist to join a leading healthcare provider in Qatar. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to work in a modern healthcare environment, delivering high-quality patient care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthetic assessments and formulate individualized anesthesia plans.
• Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia for elective and emergency surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients throughout the perioperative period and ensure safe recovery from anesthesia.
• Manage airway emergencies, resuscitation, and critical care cases.
• Provide acute and chronic pain management services.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, intensivists, nursing staff, and allied healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical governance, patient safety, and quality standards.
• Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, continuing medical education (CME), and clinical audits.
• Mentor and supervise junior medical staff, where applicable.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• PQR Tier 1 and Tier 2 qualified professionals will be given preference.
• International experience in accredited hospitals is an advantage.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• MD/MS/DNB or equivalent qualification in Anesthesiology.
• Board Certification or equivalent recognized Specialist Qualification.
• Minimum 5–10 years of post-specialization experience at the Consultant level.
• Eligibility for or ability to obtain Qatar medical licensure.
• Strong expertise in perioperative care, critical care, airway management, and pain management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care.
