Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

This is a key role supporting the delivery of complex genomics research programmes within the Liggins Institute. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects that fall under the Liggins Institute Genomics platform including the newborn genomics programme, cerebral palsy project and rare disorders programme. These projects will have national impacts helping families and individuals who are suffer from genetic diseases within Aotearoa | New Zealand. The cluster of projects have been funded by philanthropic donations and have the potential to influence the future of healthcare in New Zealand.

This is a fulltime, fixed term opportunity for 24 months.

The salary range for this role is $98,700 - $121,900 based on skills and experience.

He kōrero mōu | About you

You will be an experienced project manager with proven experience successfully managing complex projects across a diverse stakeholder base. You will be highly organised and persistent with the ability to motivate people to meet project timelines. Some understanding of the clinical trial landscape would be advantageous. Along with this you will:

  • Possess excellent communication skills including written report writing and ability to verbally communicate with a range of different stakeholders.
  • Have a Master’s degree or relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Be proficient in project management software and methodologies.
