How you’ll be making an impact in people’s lives:
- Lead, supervise and coach the team so that they undertake work in accordance with divisional priorities, policies and processes.
- Manage and monitor team resourcing and portfolios at business unit level.
- Oversee recruitment & selection and on boarding of new team members.
- Prepare business unit budget for Operations Manager and manage the expenditure within budget and in accordance with delegations
- Ensure Quality KPI to be met at business unit level
- Implement strategies to proactively manage RTW performance and ensure the performance of the business unit and Team Leader meets benchmarks for state RTW outcomes
- Undertake specific services assessments including worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment, home and job analysis as required.
Qualifications
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Australian recognised degree qualification in Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation Counselling, Physiotherapy, Psychology or Exercise Physiology
- Strategic management with demonstrated success in the delivery of occupational rehabilitation services.
- Commercial acumen to drive business growth, profitability, quality initiatives and marketing activities with sound financial acumen understanding.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop others.
- Confident in staff recruitment, training and performance management.
- Advanced knowledge of Workers Compensation, Rehabilitation and Occupational health and safety legislation.
- Willingness to work in the community (must have drivers licence and access to own vehicle)
- Current or able to get a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance
