The Opportunity 

The Recruitment Coordinator connects great barbers with great shops. You’ll source and build the pipeline that makes sure every shop has the talent they need to deliver the Ultimate Barbershop Experience. 

What You’ll Be Responsible For 

Pipeline Management 

  • Respond to all inbound leads via phone, email, and text 
  • Conduct top-level qualification calls to assess candidate fit, experience, and availability 
  • Allocate candidates to the most in-need shops based on a live demand board 
  • Follow up with shops to capture outcome and feedback 
  • Manage candidate relationship to keep them warm until we find the right fit 

 

Outbound and Sourcing 

  • Proactively source passive talent via LinkedIn, Google, Workable, and niche communities using competitor mapping and transferable skill analysis. 
  • Run outbound calling campaigns  
  • Engage talent on social media using a relationship-first approach 
  • Attend events, expos, and trade fairs 
  • Support recruitment through school partnerships to build an early-career pipeline 
  • Prepare and post job descriptions on the ATS and job boards 

 

Data and Reporting 

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records in Workable at every stage 
  • Track weekly KPIs including leads contacted, candidates allocated, and interview-to-hire rate. 
  • Identify patterns in candidate feedback and drop-off to continuously improve the process 
  • Work with the marketing team to feed insights back into ad targeting and creative 

 

Business Owner Relationships 

  • Build strong working relationships with shop managers and owners across the network 
  • Understand each location’s culture, clientele, and what a good hire looks like for them 
  • Flag shops that need support in converting or retaining candidates 

Requirements

  • A natural connector who makes people feel at ease quickly – especially over the phone 
  • You have a team-first mindset, can take ownership and is solution focused 
  • Highly organized 
  • Excited to be a part of a global franchise brand 
  • Comfortable with systems, platforms, and learning new tools quickly 
  • Able to coordinate people and keep things moving 

Bonus if:

  • Experience in talent acquisition, business development, or a role requiring active outreach and relationship-building 
  • Familiar with Boolean search capability: Ability to build, test, and iterate strings to produce relevant candidate pools efficiently. 
  • Familiarity with social media outreach  
  • Experience in the Barbering or Salon Industry 
  • Experience in building a recruitment process 
  • Experience using an ATS or recruitment platform and a CRM or project management tool
