What You Get To Do:
The Washington Senior Director is responsible for providing strategic leadership and guidance to a team of up to seven direct reports in Washington State. This role is responsible for the overall administration and growth of the Dungarvin business and services within Washington's Supportive Living Programs. The Senior Director is responsible for nurturing and developing relationships with potential and existing business partners including local, state, and federal legislative and department representatives, advocacy groups, trade associations, and other stakeholders as warranted.
Duties include:
- Develop and implement strategic program and fiscal planning initiatives to drive business growth and operational excellence
- Oversee the development, evaluation, and continuous improvement of programs and services
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local business and program regulations, laws, and licensing requirements specific to DD/IDD services
- Assure quality of services meet or exceed regulatory and licensing standards through ongoing monitoring and quality assurance activities
- Identify, pursue, and manage expansion of markets and new business opportunities within the service area
- Hire, coach, mentor, train, and supervise direct reports while fostering a culture of professional development and accountability to entire team
- Oversee budget development, allocation, and financial performance management while maintaining personal accountability for P&L outcomes
- Conduct performance evaluations, implement professional development plans, and support staff retention
- Represent the organization at community events, legislative meetings, industry forums, and stakeholder engagement activities
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, service metrics, and compliance measures to senior leadership
Qualifications
What Makes You A Great Fit:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Educational Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, Special Education or related field. Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of five years multi-site leadership in the human services industry, specific to Developmentally Disabled/Intellectual Disabilities populations. 7-10 years of multi-site leadership experience preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience with growth and development of services
- Experience with Supportive Living, Waivered Sites, Residential Group Homes, and/or Day Programs
- Minimum of five years financial management skills and budget experience of 30 million dollars with personal accountability for the P&L
- Prefer previous experience with the state of Washington systems and Medicaid Waivers
Additional Information
Hours Worked:
- 40 hours per week
- Monday- Friday 8:00AM- 5:00 PM with flexibility as needed per business needs
- Travel is associated with this role
Salary: $140,000.00 annual salary
