We're looking for a Finance Specialist to join our team at Controlant!
The Finance Specialist supports the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department through the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. Key responsibilities include supplier invoice processing, account reconciliations, cost allocations, purchase order administration, and month-end close support. The role works closely with internal stakeholders and contributes to the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
• Process supplier invoices for accuracy and approval.
• Cost Allocation and Cost Center Management.
• Reconciliation of creditors, credit cards and bank statements.
• Setup and transfer of purchase orders / purchase agreements.
• Assist with month-end/year-end closing activities and account reconciliations.
• Support internal stakeholders with finance-related inquiries.
• Contribute to process improvements and finance department initiatives.
• Perform other general accounting and administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting and/or operating in a financial system.
• Education relevant to the position.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations is considered an advantage.
• Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong service mindset and solution oriented.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
