Housekeeping Position - Weekend

Looking for a housekeeper at the Sandstone Health Care Center to work every other weekend.

Housekeeping Job Description

Housekeeper is under direct supervision of the Housekeeping Director.

The housekeeper duties and responsibilities include the following:

·         Maintain standards with respect to cleanliness and sanitation of the facility

·         Follows instruction willingly

·         Able to meet deadlines

·         Punctuality

·         Good communication skills

·         Keep neat overall appearances of surroundings

·         Empty and wash wastebaskets

·         Window washing

·         Dusting and mopping

·         Bathroom sanitation

·         Vacuuming

·         Clean dining room – tables and bases

·         Clean all furniture in common areas

·         Must be able to safely perform all essential duties of the job

Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

·         High School Diploma

·         Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, janitorial procedures

·         Knowledge of safe work practices and infection control

·         Ability to perform manual labor tasks
