Job Description
Link Solutions is seeking a Full Stack Computer Scientist to support the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command (USAISEC) at Fort Huachuca, AZ.
- U.S. Citizen with an active DoW Top Secret Clearance
- IAT Level II certification equivalent or higher
- Non-remote (relocation incentive available)
The Full Stack Computer Scientist provides full-stack application development and database administration support for the Communication Security Directorate (CSD) enterprise systems, ensuring applications and databases meet government standards, security requirements, and operational timelines.
This role is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and modernizing mission-critical COMSEC applications and database environments while supporting system integration, testing, troubleshooting, performance optimization, cybersecurity compliance, and technical documentation. Working closely with the Government Task Lead, the successful candidate will deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions that support critical communications security missions and evolving operational requirements.
- Design, develop, maintain, and modernize enterprise applications and databases in accordance with approved CSD development plans, requirements, and Government standards.
- Collaborate with the Government Task Lead and stakeholders to refine requirements, review system and database designs, assess impacts, and prioritize development activities.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application and database issues; implement enhancements and track all changes through approved configuration management processes.
- Perform testing and deployment activities, including unit, integration, regression, user acceptance, and staging environment testing, to ensure functionality, security, and compliance.
- Administer application databases, including backups, recovery, upgrades, data management, query development, scripting, reporting, and performance optimization.
- Implement software, database, cybersecurity, and RMF-related changes to maintain compliance with Government security and accreditation requirements.
- Support platform, framework, and tool upgrades to enhance system performance, security, and modernization efforts.
- Ensure development, testing, and deployment activities are completed in accordance with project schedules and Government-directed priorities.
- Provide technical support, including after-hours support for urgent operational requirements as needed.
- Participate in meetings with Government stakeholders and provide status reports, technical briefings, recommendations, and supporting documentation.

Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen with an active DoW Top Secret Clearance.
- IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, etc.).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline and a minimum of fifteen (15+) years of experience designing, developing, and supporting complex enterprise information technology systems; or twenty (20+) years of relevant experience in place of the degree requirement.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge and hands-on experience with enterprise application development, database administration, operating system support, and cloud technologies, including Microsoft .NET Framework/.NET Core (C#), SQL Server, Oracle, Windows Server, Linux/UNIX, and Microsoft Azure PaaS environments.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, project leadership, and management to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
- Experience engaging with customer stakeholders, including program management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and end-user communities, to gather requirements, communicate technical solutions, and support mission success.
Preferred:
- Experience implementing and managing automated software deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and release management processes.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining secure software applications and systems, preferably within a Risk Management Framework (RMF) environment.
- Experience working in Agile software development environments, including leading Agile teams and delivering solutions using iterative development methodologies.
- Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Additional Information
This position is contingent upon the successful acquisition of the government contract and the completion of ongoing negotiations. We anticipate these processes will be completed within the next several weeks, at which time interviews and offers will be extended upon successful contract award.
