Job Description
We are looking for a Scrum Master who wants to be part of Tieto Banktech. Tieto Banktech powers some of the Nordics’ most trusted banking systems with secure, reliable, and scalable solutions. We are working in SAFe (Scaled Agile Frameworks).
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Scrum Master to join our team in a Financial Crime Prevention department. The ideal candidate has a strong track record of facilitating Agile practices and driving team performance as a Scrum Master, with experience working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other scaled Agile environment. You will be working in a cross-functional dsitributed team(s), working closely with the Product Owner(s) and stakeholders to deliver high-quality products and solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a servant-leader and coach for one to two Agile teams, guiding them to improve Agile maturity and delivery outcomes.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and the Program Increment (PI) plannings.
- Help teams follow SAFe practices, and organize work according to them (company is working according to SAFe).
- Remove impediments, address risks, and foster an environment of collaboration, continuous improvement, and self-organization.
- Promote Agile values and a culture of transparency, accountability, and quality.
- Support and mentor team members and Product Owners in Agile principles and best practices.
- Collaborate with Release Train Engineers and other Scrum Masters within the Agile Release Train (ART) to ensure alignment and integration across teams.
- Monitor team performance metrics, and use meningful data to support continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
- Experience working in scaled Agile frameworks (preferably, SAFe).
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, and lean principles.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to coach, mentor, and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with Agile project management tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
