Senior Fullstack Engineer in Creators group (React/Typescript)

Apify is the largest marketplace of tools for AI. On Apify Store, tens of thousands of Actors, purpose-built tools for the web, help people and AI agents get real-time data, track competitors, generate leads, and connect apps. Anyone can build one and earn from it.

Apify is looking for a Senior Full-stack Engineer (React/TypeScript). As a member of the Creators group, you'll be building a world-class ecosystem for community developers and builders to create, publish, and monetize their ideas as Actors on Apify. You will build tools and features that help them succeed in the ongoing AI revolution, utilize agentic coding and other agentic flows in their daily operations, and earn monthly payouts to support their living (collectively earning >$1.2M/month from usage of their Actors!).

What you'll be working on:

• Own features and projects end-to-end, from the discovery phase through to production, and see them have a real impact on creators.

• Build the tools and features creators rely on to create, publish, and monetize their Actors.

• Work in a small, cross-functional team, shipping in two-week sprints and deploying multiple times per day.

• Use the Apify platform yourself every day - we build for builders by builders - and take pride in making it better.

• Contribute to open source; we publish everything we can on GitHub (PRs are welcome 😉).

You will be joining one of the following teams:

DX team

Our developer experience (DX) team serves creators early in their journey. They own our CLI, Actor templating system, and the whole Actor creation flow - everything between the first time a potential builder lands on Apify and the moment they successfully create their Actor. The most exciting challenges here are transforming these flows for local and cloud coding agents that autonomously build ever more complex Actors.

📍 Location: fully remote possible, visiting our office at least once a month; onboarding (~1-2 weeks) in Prague or Brno.

Publishers team

The Publishers team builds everything a creator needs once they publish their Actor in Apify Store. They own our Actor monetization logic, analytics, review system, systems for maintaining Actor quality, and much more. By joining the Publishers team, you'll work on the next generation of tools and features that help creators around the world use AI to run a business and earn a living on Apify.

📍 Location: flexible, onsite in Prague for ~2 days/week at minimum

Who we're looking for:

• 3+ years of industry experience building backend and frontend systems.

• Strong development and debugging skills in TypeScript/Node.js, or proficiency in another language and the drive to learn TypeScript quickly.

• Hands-on experience with AI tools in your day-to-day work, and the drive to stay up to date with the latest trends.

• A collaborative, experiment-driven mindset.

• A strong technical background and a great professional track record.

• Good communication skills in English.

• Frontend: React.js, styled-components, Storybook, Chromatic, Cypress, Playwright

• Backend: TypeScript/Node.js, Nest.js, Next.js, Docusaurus, Vitest

• Infra: AWS Compute (Kubernetes (EKS), EC2, Lambda), Helm, Terraform, CloudFormation, ArgoCD, MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB, S3, GitHub Actions

• Monitoring: Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Mezmo, Sentry, PagerDuty

• Tools: GitHub, Notion, Google Workspace, Slack

• OS, code editor, and AI assistant of your choice (Claude premium with unlimited tokens, GH Copilot, Cursor, Gemini, or JetBrains AI)

• Process: two-week sprints, code reviews, tests, automating whatever we can, and deploying multiple times per day.
