Job Description
The Palletizer is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and begin growing your career in the glass manufacturing industry. This role is responsible for observing production lines to ensure they are running smoothly and there are no impediments.
Schedule: 8 hour rotating schedule (includes working 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift)
The Palletizer will:
- Monitor the controls to ensure the palletizer machines continue to operate effectively
- Clear any jams that impede the production line
- Inspect cartons and bottles for any obvious defects
- Make minor adjustment as needed to ensure the palletizers are working smoothly
The Palletizer should have:
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Good interpersonal skills
- Be highly safety conscious
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age.
- High School Graduate or GED.
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Previous manufacturing experience is preferred
- Must be able to work an 8 hour rotating schedule, with weekend and holiday requirements.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations
