Why we're hiring:
The Executive – People Partner will be the primary point of contact for WPP HQ employees and stakeholders from a People team perspective. This person will work closely with Business Managers and Employees to deliver an excellent employee experience, drive engagement, foster a high-performance culture, and resolve People issues. This role requires an empathetic, agile, and communicative HR professional who can independently handle employee connects, support performance management, and maintain data-driven insights on the People front.
What you'll be doing:
Employee Connects
- Conduct regular check-ins and structured touchpoints (30-90-180 days) for new joiners to assess their onboarding experience and integration.
- Schedule and facilitate Employee Connects, Team connects, Skip-level sessions to gauge team sentiment and address concerns.
Performance Management & Employee Relations
- Assist managers in driving the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) process for underperforming employees and facilitate constructive PIP discussions.
- Act as the first line of contact for employee grievances, ensuring timely documentation, unbiased investigation, and resolution in line with company policies.
- Conduct exit interviews, analyze attrition trends, and proactively share insights with stakeholders to implement retention strategies.
Business Partnering & Process Improvement
- Attend weekly/periodic team reviews with department leaders to understand operational barriers and provide People support.
- Collaborate with the wider People team to implement process standardization and organizational development initiatives.
- Support surveys and market-trend analyses to benchmark best practices in employee engagement and retention.
Data, Analytics & Dashboards
- Create, analyze, and publish monthly/quarterly HR MIS reports, engagement dashboards, and action-tracker reports for leadership.
What you'll need:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or HRBP role within a fast-paced environment.
- Industry Background: Prior experience in Shared Services (SSC), IT, ITES is highly preferred.
- Education: Post-graduate degree/MBA in Human Resources or a related field.
- Good understanding of business operations and how HR initiatives drive business priorities.
- Strong capability in compiling data, managing MIS, and building impactful presentations (MS Excel, PowerPoint).
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact comfortably with all levels, including senior leaders.
- High level of empathy, active listening skills, and the agility to navigate complex employee relations issues.
