Instead of giving marketers more tools to manage, Ploy helps them do more automatically—from generating personalized experiences to optimizing for search and answer engines to continuously improving conversion.

Companies like Hex and Clay are already building on Ploy. More than 13% of the latest Y Combinator batch is using the platform, and we've recently announced a $27M fundraise led by Y Combinator and First Round Capital.

Now we're building the founding GTM team.

About the Role

This isn't a traditional Account Executive role.

We're looking for someone who wants to help define how an AI-native company sells.

You'll work directly with founders, marketing leaders, agencies, and enterprise teams that are rethinking how growth happens in an AI-first world.

Our customers rarely come to us looking for a single feature.

They're looking for a better way to operate.

That means great discovery matters.

The best conversations aren't about product features—they're about business priorities, growth goals, organizational challenges, and where AI can fundamentally change how a company works.

You'll own opportunities from first conversation through close while helping refine our messaging, demos, qualification framework, and sales motion.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle from discovery through close

  • Build trusted relationships with marketing leaders, founders, and growth teams

  • Run thoughtful discovery that uncovers customer priorities—not just product pain points

  • Deliver compelling demos tailored to each customer's business goals

  • Help customers understand how AI can transform the way they market—not simply automate existing workflows

  • Build thoughtful deal strategies, navigate multiple stakeholders, and drive complex buying decisions

  • Partner closely with Product, Growth, and Engineering by bringing customer feedback into the company

  • Help improve our early sales playbook through experimentation and continuous learning

  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting in HubSpot

What We're Looking For

We're looking for people with exceptional trajectory.

People who consistently take ownership, learn quickly, and create momentum.

You likely have:

  • Around 3–5 years of experience closing B2B SaaS deals

  • Strong discovery and consultative selling skills

  • Excellent business acumen and curiosity

  • The ability to connect technical capabilities to meaningful business outcomes

  • Outstanding communication skills

  • A high degree of ownership and accountability

  • Comfort operating in ambiguity without waiting for perfect direction

  • Strong judgment around qualification, deal strategy, and customer fit

Most importantly, you're someone who naturally asks, "How can I help move this forward?"

Compensation
