Position Purpose

You are your own leader, creating a compelling vision and communicating with style and charisma. You will be responsible for executing and achieving net sales targets in accordance to brands objectives and goals. Under your leadership, you build a team of high performance individuals to achieve and excel sales growth. As the Key Account Manager, you manage the sell in (net sales) and support brand related function of the business. The Key Account Manager is a point of contact and responsible for building / maintaining strong professional relationship with the Principal and Customers, handle distribution of the brand or set of brands within assigned outlets and ensuring visibility and delivering high quality customer service to the existing and potential clients. You will be the key person and a bridge between the brand and the retail team, also responsible for the collection of receivables and are the key source of information for movement of goods / brand and as one of the responsibilities is to bring back market feedback across both functions.

What we want you to do...

  • Know at all time levels of sales versus LY versus Target for Brands-group (sell in) and to share this during monthly sales and marketing meeting.
  • Manage the sell-in (net sales) and support brand related function of the business.
  • Must be able to identify and call out any risk early and propose back up or next action plans.
  • Plan and execute monthly sell in according to marketing calendar.
  • Plan with the Marketing team and execute activities at floor level to achieve Brands objectives.
  • Prepare monthly & promotional BITA (new and replenishment).
  • Close Team-work with Retail Ops Team to ensure smooth sales operations at selling floor.
  • Provide proposals, suggestions to Mktg on all sales & inventory related matters.
  • Create and maintain good rapport / relationship with retailers / vendors, retail staffs, supervisors and understand the store’s operation process.
  • Ensure timely launches of new products.
  • To look out for the white space opportunity to share with brand teams for potential brand development or growth.
  • Analyze and discuss with Retail Ops Team on a monthly basis of stock inventory holding (days) and action plans to minimize it.
  • Plan and Execute Pop Ups and Clearances with support from Retail Ops and Brand Teams.
  • Together with Retail Ops team, to meet up with key retailers / buyers to review sell in and sell out on a quarterly basis.
  • To propose action plans and review quarterly sales and risk.

Key Result / Measures

  • Achieve Brand Sales targets (net) and ensuring growth for brands.
  • Inventory Management by ensuring right assortment based on turnover.
  • Achieve Brand / Company CRM target and Known Customer %.

Requirements

Who we’re looking for…

  • Have a tertiary qualification or equivalent combination of relevant working experience that will allow the successful performance of job expectations.
  • At least 3 years working experience, in which at least a year in a managerial position. Prior experience in the luxury, electronics, lifestyle or beauty business will be an added advantage.
  • Preferably having a proven track record in managing and supervising subordinates.
  • Analytical, numerically strong, meticulous and organized with a flair / passion for luxury products.
  • A team-group player with collaboration skills who thrives in a fast-paced competitive business environment.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills and are able to build strong rapport with both internal and external key stakeholders.
  • Possess good communication and presentation skills, with a strong command of the English language.
