Our client URGENTLY requires Communications Officer / Advisor for 6months + Contracts in Nerang.

 

 

The Communications Officer / Advisor will provide professional specialised skills in communications, media, public relations, graphic design, community and stakeholder engagement are required to deliver the program of major projects for the Region. You will Liaise closely with residents during works that impact the access, or are being undertaken within close proximity to their residence.

 

 

Skills and Experience required includes:

  • Development of project flyers and Distribution of project updates to the immediate community within the identified project footprint – physical and electronic communications.
  • Receive project enquiries from the project contact number as first point of contact and support the distribution of the enquiry and assist to formulate a response (capturing enquiry within Consultation Manager).
  •  Work with the local Safety, Environment and Quality teams to support their release of communications and messaging.
  • Share content to Viva Engage from local projects (videos of works, features on our people, good news stories).

 

 

 

 

 

 

Government experience would be highly advantageous.
