Job Description

The Instructional Aide position is a unique role that is responsible for providing support for the day to day operations of the school operations. The School Aide is responsible for administering and operating support services as assigned by the manager. 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide administrative support including but not limited to data entry, making photocopies, restocking supplies, organizing classroom materials, etc.
  • Collect packages and transport to office spaces 
  • Provide short term student supervision when needed 
  • Assist school personnel with health and safety protocols 
  • Support execution of school systems (e.g. Breakfast, Arrival, Dismissal, Meal Times)
  • Provide student supervision in hallways
  • Other support duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications

  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Evidence of self-motivation, willingness to be a team player, and has a strong sense of personal responsibility;
  • Ideal candidates are hard-working, urgent, energetic, and are willing to learn and adapt;
  • Is extremely reflective and constantly wants to improve;
  • is flexible and enjoys dealing with unpredictability;
  • A strong candidate will possess strong organizational skills, communication skills (particularly with children), and problem solving skills;
  • Interest in performing a critical support role and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, results-oriented environment;
  • EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma; Passion for working with K-12 students.

Compensation

Compensation for this role is$18 per hour.
