Our client is a growing commercial and multifamily construction company focused on strengthening its digital presence and increasing visibility across both traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered search platforms. They are seeking an SEO & AI Search Optimization Specialist to improve organic search performance, optimize content for Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and position the company as an authoritative resource within the construction industry.
Role Overview
The SEO & AI Search Optimization Specialist will be responsible for improving the company's visibility across Google, Bing, and AI-powered search platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity. The SEO & AI Search Optimization Specialist will conduct SEO audits, optimize website content and technical SEO, develop search-driven content strategies, implement AEO best practices, and monitor website performance. This role is ideal for someone with strong SEO expertise who is passionate about the future of AI-powered search and enjoys combining technical optimization with content strategy.

Key Responsibilities
Search Engine Optimization
Conduct comprehensive SEO audits and identify growth opportunities.
Optimize on-page SEO across key website pages.
Improve metadata, internal linking, site structure, and technical SEO.
Monitor keyword rankings, search visibility, and organic traffic.
Develop and execute SEO strategies that improve search performance.
AI Search & Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)
Implement best practices for AI-powered search optimization.
Optimize website content for Answer Engine Optimization (AEO).
Research emerging AI search technologies and trends.
Develop strategies that improve authority, relevance, and discoverability across AI platforms.
Monitor visibility across both traditional and AI-powered search channels.
Content Strategy & Optimization
Conduct keyword and topic research.
Develop SEO-driven content calendars and content strategies.
Create content briefs and optimization recommendations.
Improve existing website content to increase search rankings and engagement.
Identify opportunities for new content development.
Website Growth & Performance
Collaborate on website optimization initiatives.
Improve user experience through SEO and content recommendations.
Monitor website analytics and search performance metrics.
Deliver SEO performance reports and recommendations to leadership.
Qualifications Experience
2+ years of experience in SEO.
Experience improving organic rankings and website traffic.
Experience developing SEO content strategies and content optimization initiatives.
Experience conducting SEO audits and technical SEO improvements.
Experience using website analytics and SEO reporting.
Experience within construction, real estate, architecture, engineering, or related industries is a plus.
Qualifications Skills
Strong understanding of modern SEO best practices.
Experience with Google Search Console.
Experience with Google Analytics.
Experience using Ahrefs.
Experience using Semrush.
Experience using Moz.
Experience with WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
Familiarity with AI-assisted content workflows.
Understanding of Answer Engine Optimization (AEO).
Understanding of AI-powered search trends.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Excellent written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
