Role Overview:

GSS is seeking a high-calibre Business Development Manager with an established network and active, existing client relationships in the UAE/GCC outsourcing and IT staffing market. This is a pure hunter role — the successful candidate will be expected to leverage their existing enterprise relationships to generate immediate pipeline and accelerate revenue growth for GSS's Outsourcing business line.  

We are looking for someone who brings a fresh perspective and an independent network — a professional, who can open new doors and introduce GSS to decision-makers of the clients they do not currently reach. The benchmark for this hire is a senior BD professional with a track record comparable to leading relationship managers at top UAE financial institutions. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage existing client relationships across UAE/GCC enterprises, banks, and FinTechs to generate qualified outsourcing leads from day one 
  • Own and grow a pipeline of IT outsourcing and staffing opportunities — ODC models, resource augmentation, and managed services 
  • Conduct senior-level client engagements, present GSS's outsourcing proposition, and negotiate commercial terms 
  • Develop tailored proposals, rate cards, and commercial offers in coordination with delivery and operations teams 
  • Identify new verticals and market segments for GSS's outsourcing services beyond the existing client base 
  • Represent GSS at industry events, forums, and networking platforms to build brand visibility 
  • Collaborate internally with delivery leads to ensure smooth transition from BD to execution 
  • Meet defined revenue and pipeline targets within the first 6 months, with quarterly review milestones 

Requirements

Must-Have 

• 8–12+ years in B2B Business Development / Sales in IT Outsourcing, Staffing, or Managed Services 

• Proven, active relationships with enterprise clients and decision-makers in UAE — independent of the current GSS network 

• Demonstrated track record of independently closing outsourcing or staffing contracts in UAE/GCC 

• Experience with financial institutions, banks, or large corporates as outsourcing clients 

• Self-driven, target-oriented professional with a genuine hunter mindset 

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills 

Strong Advantage 

• Prior experience at or deep relationships across UAE in different domains. 

• Background in technology consulting or delivery — understands ODC / offshore models 

• Arabic language proficiency 

• Exposure to FinTech, Payments, or Open Finance segments 


Performance Expectations

•     New client revenue is expected within 6 months of joining.

•     Performance metrics include pipeline value, qualified opportunity count, proposals submitted, and revenue closed
