What will you be doing?
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our ambitious team in London. This is a permanent role with hybrid working pattern, with minimum 2 days per week office attendance.
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our Infrastructure estate of Windows servers, supporting any roles and purposes on those servers, as well as security management. You will be responsible for managing network changes in line with our 3rd party, as well as assisting with integration of purchased assets into the company’s estate.
As an Infrastructure Engineer, your responsibilities will include among others,
- Build and maintain the Windows server estate
- Management of the Meraki network estate
- Other responsibilities include, but not limited to, managing Commvault backups, printer infrastructure & vulnerability remediation
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure infrastructure and services
- Assist with integration plans for merging the IT systems of the acquiring and target companies, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption to business operations
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with the integration of IT infrastructure, including data security, compliance, and system compatibility
- Ad hoc tasks from Head of Infrastructure & EUC, or Infrastructure & EUC Lead
Qualifications
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you should have
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Windows Server
- Experience of working in a Hybrid Cloud environment
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Bicep
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell
Desired:
- Working knowledge of Zscaler
- SQL experience
- M365 administration
