The role
The Creator Channel Manager owns the strategic direction and end-to-end performance of the Creator channel. This is a hybrid role spanning strategy, operations, analytics, and stakeholder management — not purely creator execution. The channel has evolved significantly: operational sourcing has largely shifted to the agency, while the FTE focus has moved to strategic steering, quality control, performance analysis, and channel development. With the Creative Strategist now owning creative strategy, this role focuses on what only a senior channel owner can do: agency steering, incentivization innovation, amplification strategy, and cross-functional channel development.

What you’ll do
- Own overall creator channel strategy, development, and performance — including long-term channel vision and growth roadmap
- Steer and escalate agency relationships: set direction, manage quality, and hold the agency accountable to performance and operational standards
- Lead incentivization strategy and innovation — including virtual sampling, CPA model evolution, and compensation benchmarking
- Own influencer amplification in close collaboration with Paid Social, including briefing, execution alignment, and performance tracking
- Manage PR box operations, stakeholder coordination, and escalation management across internal and external parties
- Handle technical issue escalations across discounts, freebies, and customer service cases that require channel-level ownership
- Own channel performance analysis and strategic optimisation — including WBR/MBR reporting, performance pattern identification, and strategic recommendations
- Lead cross-functional project ownership — including landing page tests, ISEM, CPO initiatives, and other growth projects that touch the creator channel
- Drive portfolio diversification across platforms — with specific ownership of platform expansion decisions (e.g. YouTube and TikTok reactivation, amplification initiatives) — subject to operational support availability
- Collaborate with the Creative Strategist on channel-specific messaging: brief into the Creative Strategist, not around them
- Stay ahead of platform changes, creator trends, iCAC developments, and the evolving overlap between performance and brand influencer marketing
What you’ll bring
- 4–6+ years in Influencer or Creator Marketing, ideally within a DTC or subscription business — you have owned a channel, not just contributed to one
- Proven experience managing and optimising both Fixed Fee and CPA/Affiliate compensation models — you understand the economics of each and know when and how to shift between them
- Strong data literacy: you are comfortable calculating and interpreting CAC, CTR, CVR, ROI, and LTV, and can translate raw performance data into clear strategic recommendations
- Experience steering agencies as a client — setting direction, managing quality, and holding partners accountable to performance standards, not just coordinating execution
- Deep knowledge of the DACH creator landscape across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland — you know the platforms, the talent tiers, and the audience dynamics
- Fluent German, written and spoken — essential for evaluating content quality, briefing local partners, and navigating cultural nuances in the market
- Experience with Paid Social amplification of creator content (Meta, TikTok) is a strong plus, as is YouTube channel management experience
- Familiarity with performance creative briefing and experience working within a central/local matrix organisation are welcome additions
